Therapy Services

Anxiety, depression, and neurodiversity-affirming support

What to Expect?

I provide individualized psychotherapy for adults, with sessions available weekly, biweekly, or monthly based on your needs. Whether meeting in person or through telehealth, my goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can talk openly about what is happening in your life and work toward meaningful change.

My approach is collaborative and practical. Together, we may use evidence-based strategies, skill-building, creative problem-solving, and increased self-understanding to help you work toward your individual goals.

Therapy services are currently available to clients located in Maine.

Areas of Expertise

I specialize in treating anxiety and depression and provide care that is neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed. My approach is individualized for both neurodivergent and neurotypical adults, with attention to each person’s experiences, strengths, needs, and goals.

Being trauma-informed means that I recognize the ways past experiences can affect present-day functioning and approach therapy with attention to safety, choice, pacing, and autonomy. I do not specialize in PTSD or trauma-focused treatment. If intensive trauma processing or treatment of PTSD is your primary reason for seeking therapy, a clinician who specializes in that area may be a better fit.

Areas we may work on include:

  • Anxiety: Managing excessive worry, racing thoughts, irritability, restlessness, and feeling overwhelmed through strategies such as cognitive restructuring, mindfulness, and practical coping skills.
  • Depression: Addressing low motivation, self-doubt, hopelessness, and difficulty engaging in everyday life through behavioral activation, self-compassion, and work with unhelpful thought patterns.
  • Coping & Emotional Regulation: Developing practical strategies for managing stress, overwhelm, and difficult emotions.
  • Communication: Strengthening assertiveness, active listening, and effective self-expression.
  • Boundaries: Learning to identify, communicate, and maintain healthier limits in relationships and everyday life.
  • Self-Esteem & Self-Acceptance: Exploring negative self-perceptions, recognizing strengths, and developing a more balanced and compassionate view of yourself.
  • Neurodivergence & Executive Functioning: Developing strategies that account for differences in attention, organization, motivation, sensory needs, and day-to-day functioning.

Therapy can be a place to better understand yourself, navigate challenges, develop useful skills, and create meaningful change. My approach is personalized to your experiences, strengths, and goals rather than based on a one-size-fits-all model.
